Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
The short version: you pay on the schedule you pick until you cancel. Your plan includes a set number of call minutes, and extra minutes are $0.25 each. Cancel anytime, no contract. If it doesn't catch a customer you'd have missed in your first 30 days, you get your money back. It's an AI: it can make mistakes and isn't for emergencies.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you (the business that buys a plan) and Aki Automation ("we", "us"). By buying a plan or using our receptionist, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Free demos are provided as-is, for you to try.
2. What we provide
A custom AI phone receptionist trained on the information you give us, its own local phone number while your plan is active, setup, call summaries, and the features listed on our pricing for your plan. We aim to have it live within 48 hours of receiving your completed onboarding form.
3. Plans, billing and minutes
- Plans are subscriptions charged automatically to your card through Stripe on the schedule you chose (weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly) until you cancel. Prices are on our pricing; sales tax may be added.
- Each plan includes a number of call minutes per billing period. Unused minutes don't roll over.
- If you go over, your receptionist keeps answering. Extra minutes are $0.25 each, rounded up to the whole minute, and are added to your next payment (or charged to your card on file if your plan has ended). We'll tell you when you're close to your limit.
- If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next payment at the new price.
4. Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel anytime on our billing page. Your receptionist keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for; then it stops answering and its phone number is released.
- 30-day money-back guarantee: if your receptionist doesn't catch at least one customer you'd have missed in your first 30 days, email us within those 30 days and we'll refund what you paid for your plan.
- Otherwise, payments already made aren't refunded for partial periods.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information (hours, services, prices, policies) and tell us when it changes. The receptionist only knows what you give it.
- Set up call forwarding from your business line, and turn it off when you cancel.
- Follow the laws that apply to your calls, including telling callers that calls may be recorded or answered by an AI where the law requires it, and any rules for your industry (for example health privacy rules).
- Don't use the service for anything illegal, for robocalls or spam, or to mislead callers.
6. AI limits and emergencies
The receptionist is an AI. It can mishear or make mistakes, and it may not always be available (for example during a phone carrier or provider outage). It does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not an emergency service: anyone with an emergency should dial 911. Please review your call summaries and follow up on anything important.
7. Your data
Your business information and your callers' details belong to you. We use them only to run your receptionist, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we handle callers' information on your behalf.
8. Limits of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
9. Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here with a new date and email clients about important changes. We may suspend service for non-payment or misuse, after telling you when we can.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Questions: akiautomationrt@gmail.com.
